Crema's Take

Dynamo Coffee Roasting is where Colorado Springs goes for genuinely excellent espresso and pour overs, backed by a staff so genuinely warm they'll lend you a phone charger without hesitation. The space itself feels like a thoughtfully designed refuge—the kind of spot where you can linger for hours over coffee and pastries, whether you're meeting a friend or settling in solo, all while excellent music plays in the background. Beyond the stellar coffee, they've clearly thought through their guests' needs with a solid gluten-free breakfast menu and reasonable prices, making it feel less like a specialty coffee destination and more like a place that happens to be beloved by its entire community.

Best coffee on the east side of town. Actually it's probably the best coffee in the whole city and the staff is super nice and friendly. They let me borrow a phone charger when I was in need. Also top quality coffee art!

This coffee shop is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, inviting, and thoughtfully curated — the kind of place you can settle into for hours whether you’re catching up with a friend or enjoying a quiet moment to yourself. The food is just as impressive as the drinks. The sourdough grilled cheese is next-level — perfectly toasted with that crisp, buttery crunch on the outside and gooey, melty goodness inside. Comfort food done right. And the drinks? Incredible. The lavender latte is beautifully balanced — lightly floral without being overpowering, smooth, and perfectly crafted. If you’re in the mood for something indulgent, the Nutella Frappuccino is rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. It tastes like dessert in a cup. On top of all that, the service is consistently friendly and welcoming. The staff clearly care about what they’re serving and make you feel genuinely appreciated as a customer. Great food, amazing drinks, and a fantastic atmosphere — this spot is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again.

We were visiting from Denver and wanted to visit a local coffee shop/roaster. Dynamo is an awesome spot! Delicious coffee, reasonable prices, incredibly friendly staff, and great music. I love that they offer a choice of light or dark roast for their espresso, and they have a great selection of house made syrups and alternative milks. The only thing that didn’t land for me is a “the diet starts tomorrow” sign they have displayed; to me it felt out of touch in an otherwise welcoming community space. I would overall recommend checking this place out if you are in the area!

I don't get to stop in to Dynamo often, but when I do it's an incredible experience from start to finish. Today was coffee with a friend! You're greeted, asked if you need more time with the menu or have any questions. I chose one of their October drinks, the Mochamento Mori. My friend ordered a Cortado with Oatmilk and a black coffee. My friend was given her black coffee and we were given a number for our other drinks. We grabbed a seat and shortly after her Cortado arrived followed by my latte. There are no words for how incredible the Mori was. The flavors were all apparent, but mingled together flawlessly. I would drink one of these everyday!! My friend had nothing but amazing things to say about her beverage as well. Dynamo is one of my favorite places. If you're sitting in, the smell of coffee and the buzz of conversations is the icing on the coffee shop vibe. I wish I were nearby more often, but I know that no matter the time between visits, the consistency stays the same. Until next time!

I cannot say enough good things about this coffeehouse. They offer a really good (not to mention delicious) variety of gluten free items from muffins to breakfast sandwiches. Their coffee is also really good. I have found my new favorite place. I am not one to give out 5 stars often, I am very hard to impress. If you follow a gluten free diet, definitely give this place a shot, you will not regret it. I already planned my next visit! My husband was equally impressed with the food, the atmosphere, and not to mention the service. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. It does get busy, we were there around 8:15am and the place was pretty busy, but worth the wait. If you have a chance definitely do not pass on this coffeehouse, it will not disappoint you.
