The line was so long 3 people working but one of them was constantly holding conversations with customers even after giving them their items. Very annoying. People had been waiting over 15 minutes for drinks. It didn't even seem to phase her that the line was growing. Not very many healthy options available for snacks or items for kids available. Pricing is higher than I would expect for a children's hospital. Maybe get one person to be just a cashier instead of to trying to multitask.

I order coffee there almost every week. A small sized 12 oz Comfort cup costs 7.45. It is delicious. But, after paying $7.45 for it, the baristas only give 8 or 9 oz unless they are tipped. This happens every single time I don't tip. Not to sound stingy, but shouldn't they be serving the full 12 oz regardless of being tipped, when a small cup alone costs $7.45, while coffee at all similar high end coffee shops is $4.90 in Kansas City metropolitan area? This is the Roasterie at Children's Mercy Hospital. Service isn't prompt either. And, there aren't long lines there either.

This place was such a life saver when we needed a coffee pick me up! The baristas were so helpful and made amazing coffees and other drinks. This coffee was simply amazing on the taste buds!

The nitro cold brews don't taste like they do at Starbucks, and I'm not sure if I'm digging it. It's cool that they have all their syrups in sugar free options.

What a fantastic addition to Children's Mercy ❤️ I have been coming here for 20 + years, both with my children and now my grandchildren. The circumstances are never usually fun when visiting and the Roasterie is a friendly welcome to a visit. The location is perfect, right as you stop to check in and show your I.D. My visit today was so positive it brought tears to my eyes! I stopped to get a coffee before my visit but forgot to substitute almond milk .Upon realizing ,the girl who helped me said she would change it. I said ,no it was ok & my mistake, besides I knew it cost more & had already paid. She kept offering and finally insisted & dumped the coffee out.She said " I wouldn't want you to get a stomach ache or anything and don't worry That kindness was very much needed and so wonderful!
