Crema's Take

Tucked into Saint Amant, this spacious yet genuinely cozy spot has become a neighborhood gem for anyone tired of driving to nearby towns for quality coffee, with a particularly strong espresso program and creative seasonal offerings that keep regulars coming back. The vibe is welcoming and work-friendly, making it equally suited for a solo laptop session or a catch-up with friends, though fair warning—their specialty drinks lean decidedly sweet, so you might want to dial back the syrup if you prefer letting the espresso shine through.

Mais La Coffee and Tea 44018 Gold Place Rd, St Amant, LA 70774 I stumbled on this cute little coffee & tea shop in Saint Amant and wow… the place is cozy in every way. Even the coffee surprised me, and I’m not usually a coffee guy. Perfect spot to chill or bring someone on a casual date. i was so happy to hear saint amant was getting a new coffee shop, it’s in a great spot and i’m so happy i don’t have to drive to gonzales or prairieville to grab good coffee! it’s huge inside with lots of seating! the little library is so cute. the employees were so nice and i got my coffee quick! i can’t wait to come back and try more coffees and pastries. highly recommend coming here to hang out with friends, do school work, or just read a book.

Customer service is always polite and friendly. And the coffee is amazing. Love that they have seasonal newbies to try.

Went to get coffee after seeing their Fall menu on social media. Each drink was over $9 after tax and both drinks (White pumpkin cold brew and a spicy shaken espresso) were so sweet that we couldn't even drink half of it. Service was fine and the atmosphere had a cool vibe to it. But sadly the drinks are overpriced and underwhelming.

Mais La opened a few minutes away from my house and I was ECSTATIC to have a coffee shop this close. I have worked in coffee shops for years, so they are a safe space to me. I was hoping this place would be added to the list of home-like shops I can sit and rot in, and BOY did they exceed my expectations. Every employee has shown incredible customer service, but they all go above and beyond. They care about you, and they notice your absence if you go a few days without visiting. I went in last week to lift my spirits a few hours after losing my family dog, and by the time I got there, they had already heard, and not only did they pay for my drink, but they comforted me as well. The owner and every employee that she has hired are genuinely some of the best people I have ever met. I am so glad to have a second home that is close to my actual home.
