Crema's Take
“This Santa Fe institution pairs expertly crafted sourdough with genuinely welcoming vibes, making it equally suited for grabbing a perfect loaf or settling in with a book and coffee for hours. Their signature boule earns passionate devotion from regulars who rave about its exceptional flavor and open crumb structure, while the vegetarian sandwiches and pastries round out an impressive spread that feels effortlessly artisanal rather than pretentious. It's the kind of place where you feel immediately at home, whether you're a serious bread enthusiast or just looking for a cozy spot to linger.”

Stopped in for a loaf of sourdough. Their sourdough boule has a rather open crumb so it's great for dipping in soup. Maybe not so much for toasting and spreads. It's really nice to chew on though.
Love this place! Delicious bread and coffee, sweet place to sit and read. Always feel super welcome. Hands down best veg sandwich in sf!
I love the bread, good service, cool atmosphere but every time I come in here there is someone with a dog even though there is a sign on the door stating that no dogs are allowed. Not once have I seen an employee tell a dog owner that they cant have their pets inside. I cant stand self entitled dog owners that think that they can take their dogs wherever they want and ruin the experience for the rest of us. Buying fake "Service Animal" harnesses even though they have absolutely no handicap. This happens all over town and its an absolute nuisance. Completely unsanitary and disgusting.
I LOVE a sourdough bakery, and this is most certainly my favorite. Their Boule simply has the best flavor of any sourdough I have ever had. You can tell they care deeply about the quality of their ingredients. Their sandwiches are always the perfect blend of salty, rich with a nice balance of sour. The Frangipane makes me melt. Everyone working here is so nice and I’m loving the success they are having :)
Incredible, outstanding, OMG pick your superlative! As good or better than any bread I've had in Paris. Honestly, this is what artisanal and craft work is all about. Their love of making exquisite breads is almost palpable in the breads themselves and in the friendly, relaxed atmosphere. I almost hesitate to rave about them because it's a small space and I'd hate to see them overwhelmed. But this place is a keeper -- do yourself a favor and stop in. To the owners and staff, all I can say is thank you for existing and thank you for doing what you're doing. What an incredibly positive experience you added to my day!
