Crema's Take

Nestled in walkable downtown Asheville, this café has built a devoted following for its inventive food-coffee pairings—think orange mochas and blood orange burrata alongside sourdough pancakes and duck hash bowls—all enjoyed in a lush outdoor garden setting that feels like a secret escape. The kitchen takes real care with both coffee and cuisine, earning passionate reviews from guests who discover it's far more than just a coffee stop, though you might want to arrive early since the line often snakes out the door.

Can’t believe I didn’t know this place did food as well! Really exceptional cafe food and a great outdoor space within walking distance of downtown Asheville!

This place is DELICIOUS. We had the blood orange burrata, sourdough blueberry pancake, and shashuka. The coffee was also amazing - we both had the orange mocha. Best coffee I’ve ever had. The syrup is house made. We live in Orlando, and I wish we had this place back home!!

Delicious burger! Good coffee! Such a lovely atmosphere sitting outside:deck seating, garden seating umbrellas etc.

Really good food and coffee. I had the duck hash bowl. Very tasty and flavorful. My girlfriend got the sourdough pancake and it was kinda underwhelming. It almost seemed raw in the middle. The hot lattes were great. We went on a Saturday morning and had to wait nearly 30 minutes just to order our food. The majority of that wait was outside in the cold. Most of the available seating is outside as well so bring a jacket. The parking situation is rough. No dedicated parking lot. You will have to find street parking. On busy days this can get difficult.

Probably waited about 25 minutes to order, line was out the door when we arrived. However, it was worth the wait for us. Everything was absolutely delicious! The service was great and the outdoor seating was lovely and dog friendly so we got to pet some pups, always a bonus! I highly recommend this restaurant and will come again next time we are in the area!
