SSUM Coffee

I don’t know if I went on a bad day but this place was so disappointing. We got the valentines matcha and the corn latte. The corn latte was okay but extremely sweet and the coffee tastes like instant coffee. The matcha tasted like grass and there was matcha powder floating in it. I went to exchange it and got the spicy oat latte, same as the corn latte the coffee tasted like instant coffee and was just not good. The service is great and the workers are very nice. The drinks look very cute, it was sad to not have enjoyed them.

Cute spot. Stylish for a quick bite and coffee to go. We only had their matcha latte and a special menu drink at the time. Matcha was tasty and strong not watered down at all. Also!! They have super good looking pastries unfortunately they were sold out of the chocolate cookies they’re famously known for. Staff was sweet and answered all our questions :)

My Saturday routine is to start the day off exploring new coffee shops and I’m definitely adding this place to my favorite places in OC 😍! First and foremost, I got their matcha einspanner and an iced americano for my fiancé and their matcha was so amazing! You can just look at the color of the matcha and know that it’ll be goooood. They also have a good selection of pastries / cookies and I got to try the famous dubai chewy cookie which was indeed flavorful and sweet. Will be back to try their signature lattes♥️.

It’s such a cozy little spot with a really warm, welcoming vibe. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel comfortable right away. I tried the matcha, it was smooth and tasted great. They also offer espresso drink and refreshers. A lovely new neighborhood café that I’ll definitely be coming back to!

Just visited this newly opened coffee shop and I’m already a fan. I tried the strawberry matcha, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and incredibly refreshing. You can really taste the quality and care that went into it. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. It’s exciting to have such a great new spot in the neighborhood, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu. Highly recommend checking it out!
