Crema's Take

Tucked across from the Mission Inn with a charmingly eclectic interior that blends industrial lights, farmhouse charm, and quirky vintage finds, Molinos Coffee feels like a hidden gem in downtown Riverside. Their underrated açaí bowls and thoughtfully balanced specialty drinks like rich mango smoothies showcase real care in execution, while the connected antique store and slow-sit vibe make it an ideal spot for lingering conversations over reasonably priced coffee and fresh pastries.

Molino’s is one of my favorite spots in downtown Riverside, especially being right across from the Mission Inn. It’s a quaint, welcoming coffee shop with reasonable prices and a really solid selection. My go to order is the affogato, and if you haven’t tried it served in a ceramic cup, you’re missing out. It just hits different. I’ll usually pair it with the avocado toast or keep it simple with a bagel and cream cheese. I work remotely quite a bit, and this is one of those places where I can get my day started, enjoy my coffee, and knock out some work without feeling rushed. Great vibe, great location, and consistently good every time I stop in.

This is a small cafe with a simple, cute interior. They have bakery items like bagels, muffins, and cheesecake. The mango smoothie was rich without being too sweet, and the vanilla latte was pretty standard. It’s a place you can grab a drink and a simple dessert.

Nice little coffee place that happens to connect to an antique store. The interior had a funky eclectic thing going on- chandelier, industrial lights, farmhouse chairs, pallet art. The classics for coffee options and dairy free options too. The girls working the counter were quick, polite and kind. Would come by again for a coffee.

Food wise, really only one option, but it wasn't terrible, I was glad there was something available at 7:00 when nothing else was opened. The young lady behind the counter was excellent! She was very personable, engaging and welcoming. Coffee was great with a good atmosphere. Chairs are not that comfortable...

Ordered an açaí bowl here around 10am on a Sunday morning it’s delicious just like the one at the Redlands location. Their açaí is underrated. The consistency is like ice cream and with a scoop of peanut butter it’s under $8 at a decent portion as well. Some seats are available but it can get packed quick. The ambiance is a minimal and I want to give it the word “rustic.” Don’t know how their coffee is, but the açaí is worth it here. Açaí bowl: 4.5/5
