Travel Bug
839 Paseo De Peralta, Santa Fe, NM
Crema's Take
“Travel Bug is a beautifully unconventional hybrid where you can sip carefully crafted coffee alongside beer on tap while browsing curated travel books, custom-printed USGS maps, and outdoor gear—all while your dog settles in at your feet. The historic Santa Fe location cultivates an almost magical atmosphere for trip planning, whether you're ordering a specialty drink, settling in with a panini, or getting lost in the collections of maps and travel narratives from around the world. It's the kind of place that makes you wonder why you didn't discover it sooner, with enough cozy nooks and outdoor seating to spend an entire afternoon dreaming up your next adventure.”

What a *NEAT* store!! 📕 🧳 🌍 a bookstore 📖, collections of maps🗺️ & bar all in 1. Plus: outdoor gear!! Lots of places to sit and read and cozy up with a pint of beer. 🍺 PS Doggo’s are allowed.
I want to spent time here from now on... idk why avoided it for soooo long... im prepping for a trip to France and I should've visited this place years ago. A nice German woman stopped to compliment on how easy I switched between English and Spanish... she was amazingly polite and gave us a few tips for traveling in the NW region... everything about the place was more than welcoming. The staff and the atmosphere beautiful.
What a fun place to discover. Our hotel was nearby so we wandered over here to check it out. It's a map and travel nerd's dream store. Maps and books from all over the world. Huge color printer if you need to print your own as well. Bonus, great beer on tap with a daily happy hour from 5-6. When is the last time you paid $3.50 for a beer? My wife enjoyed the daily latte during our stay as well. Super friendly and helpful staff as well.
A terrific, unique travel store in the historic area of Santa Fe! Travel books, fiction and non-fiction books, maps (USGS topo maps printed on site!), travel vests, luggage, coffee, and beers on tap. Grab a bar stool at the counter, a beverage of your choice, and a travel book - what more could you want. A fantastic find near our hotel!
