Crema's Take

Tucked away off Veterans Boulevard in Kenner, Shiloh's Coffee is a cozy, hidden gem where espresso-focused craft meets genuine warmth—their signature creations like the iced banana latte with banana cold foam are memorable enough to detour for, and their Cuban coffee and guava pastries have earned a devoted local following. The small but inviting space excels as both a quiet refuge for coffee lovers and a welcoming spot to linger with friends, with staff who treat every customer like family and a menu that balances specialty drinks with light, quality food.

Heads up to every non Christian person that comes here, this place imposes their Christian believes onto their customers. I'm not a Christian and not interested in becoming one, I came to support a local small business. But what I found truly made us uncomfortable. If you're a public business, you should cater to everyone and respect others believes. This is not it. I understand being Christian, however, this was just plain proseletyzing. Our coffee cup had the words " commit your way to the lord". Which is extremely unnecessary for a public business. You don't know if the person is Christian, but you're imposing your belief onto others. That's incredibly disrespectful to your customers. Also, almost every sandwich has pork. And they forget to tell you that as well. I cannot eat pork, and if I had known that everything had pork I wouldn't have ordered it to begin with. Everything, from the Christian music playing, the Jesus phrases, the psalms written on blackboard and the Christian commentary on the coffee drink made the whole experience extremely uncomfortable. I want to post this review in case of others who dont share the Christian religion want to come here. This is what you can expect. Complete disregard for other people's beliefs. Imposing your beliefs onto others is how you lose business.

I found Shiloh’s when looking for a place to get coffee on our way home from a weekend in New Orleans. I decided on an iced banana latte with banana cold foam - that banana flavor is insanely good! It tastes so close to a really good banana pudding without being overly sweet or too powerful. I got a 12 oz but immediately wished I had gotten a larger size! It isn’t far off of I-10; the store front does not face the main road though, but you just have to turn off of the main road and drive down what looks like a long driveway, almost like the building used to be a small hotel. It’s very small but just look for the couple neon coffee and open signs! The service was great and friendly. They were out of the cookies and cream flavor when we stopped in, but with how good the banana flavor is, I’m going to have to find a reason to make it back there to try that one too! I’ve really never had such a great flavor in a latte, and I drink coffee every day. Wonderful place, I look forward to going back.

Quaint, welcoming, friendly coffee shop. The best Cuban coffee and guava treats. Exceptionally priced. Don’t pass it up, its location is slightly hidden from view, you can’t see it from the street, you have to drive into the “mall” but it’s worth the trip!

What a delightful surprise! We discovered Shiloh’s Coffee Shop tucked away behind the storefronts on Veterans Blvd—and what a find! It’s a small spot, but the atmosphere is so cozy and inviting, it instantly feels like a favorite neighborhood hangout. The frappes are silky-smooth, the coffee is perfectly balanced, and the fresh-pressed sandwich was full of flavor. Their pastries are just the right touch of sweet—you can taste the care in everything they serve. If you're looking for a local spot that feels like home and serves quality food and drinks, this is the place. Let’s support our small businesses—Shiloh’s deserves it!
