Crema's Take

This Kenner outpost brings the iconic New Orleans beignet experience to the suburbs without the French Quarter crowds, with most reviewers raving about consistently fresh, warm pastries that rival the original location. The drive-thru is genuinely efficient (under five minutes on busy evenings), making it perfect for coffee lovers who want quality chicory coffee and fluffy beignets whether they're in a rush or settling in for a slower sit. It's a genuine neighborhood spot where the staff knows regulars, creating that welcoming local vibe that makes specialty coffee shops feel like home.

This place is a great alternative to not having to go to the original one downtown. The staff was friendly and had people who worked there who live close to it. So the locals all know who they are. It's not the cleanest restaurant in the world, but much cleaner than the one downtown that's overrun by tourists.. if you're on this side of town in New Orleans, give this place a try. It'll be worth your time. The beignet was fresh and plump, and the coffee is authentic Cafe Du Monde as it should.

I've never had more fresh beignets in my life (and I've had lots)! I went through the drive-thru on an early Friday evening and was served in less than five minutes. Service was quick and friendly. And the beignets were HOT and coated in sugar. Got stuck in traffic, so it was the perfect excuse to taste them fresh. Will be going here from now on!

First time here and I will say I love that when I showed up around 5pm ish that I was the only one there. Im introverted but had to make the most out of my day trip. Everyone kept saying to try this place and try benigets. You hear about it on social media, TV etc...mann look I was not impressed. Im originally from Belize and it literally tasted like what we call "fry jack" but with powdered sugar and more doughy. It was nothing special. I imagined it was going to be different than what it is. Especially maybe warm, but it wasnt even warm or even hot temp wise. It was just doughy and tasted like its been sitting out for awhile. My review is for the item itself and not necessarily the customer service cause they were super helpful and offered me a suggestion on what I should try for my first time. Fryjacks are better in my opinion than beignets

We visited Café du Monde in New Orleans, but not the original location, and it was a wonderful experience. The beignets were fresh, warm, and exactly what you hope for when you come here. What really made the visit special was the service. The team was kind, welcoming, and very attentive. We ended up having a really nice conversation with some of the staff, and it felt genuine and friendly, not rushed at all. It is one of those places where you feel happy to sit, enjoy good company, and just take in the moment. A great stop, and a memory we will keep with a smile.
