Crema's Take
“Tucked inside a gas station but punching way above its weight, House of Rain crafts beautifully balanced coffees that taste like they actually care about each sip—their lattes hit that perfect sweetness spot and their chai lattes deliver genuine comfort in a cup. The owner couple runs this cozy drive-thru operation with genuine warmth and also launches a weekend sandwich shop on Saturdays, making it clear they're passionate about quality beyond just coffee. Whether you're grabbing a quick cortado on your way to class or lingering over their killer cowboy cookies, this hidden gem has earned its perfect rating by doing the fundamentals right.”

My latte was perfect this morning! I always pass by on the way to class and wanted a quick coffee this morning, so I stopped by. The worker was super friendly and the cookies are so good! A must try.
I ordered a chai latte this morning and WOW. I took that first warm sip surrounded by 34 degree weather, and I felt like I was right back at home huddled up in a warm cozy blanket, sitting by the fireplace, sipping my amazing chai latte. I don’t write reviews often, but this one? Very well deserved. 1000% recommended 🤍 (Also noticed they have drive through! I’ll be using it next time)
Their coffee products are phenomenal and delicious. I want to highlight the couple who owns the coffee shop has also a sandwich shop only Saturdays from 4-9pm same location. They serve Tripletas, Bistec sandwich, and Cuban sandwiches. If you don't know what they are just go there and try them they are outstanding, well seasoned and fresh ingredients. The meats are so tasty and while there grab a drink at the gas station and fill up. Give them your business you will get home with those sandwiches and have a food orgasm. They are that good.
Tried for the first time today and I’m impressed! Coffee wasn’t too sweet or burnt like most places around town. Service was friendly and quick. And they have a drive-thru!
This place is a hidden gem. This is a small drive thru coffee shop within a gas station. I absolutely loved their cortado and their caramel ice latte. I also had their cowboy cookie. They also have a cute table outside where you can sit and enjoy your coffee. Again, delicious coffee! ☕️ I highly recommend this place! Also, it’s a PuertoRican family-owned, small business. Let’s show our Texas love.
