Conejo Coffee
2860 Camino Dos Rios, Camarillo, CA
Crema's Take
“Conejo Coffee crafts boldly flavorful espresso drinks that lean creative without losing balance—think lavender lattes that justify their premium and a signature concha cold brew that's refreshingly smooth—while their breakfast menu, particularly the Conejo Loco Bowl, pairs beautifully with the coffee's natural strength. The shop cultivates an inviting, leisurely atmosphere perfect for slow mornings, though the vibrant visual identity (those black flags everywhere) definitely makes a statement that'll either intrigue or polarize you depending on what you're seeking.”

I got the concha cold brew and the breakfast bowl. The salsa is so good. It tastes so fresh and like it was made in a molcajete. It was soooo good. I am not sure if this place is Latino owned but they have a really awesome menu that seems to be inspired by some Latino favorites. Either way, I love this place.
This is seriously one of the best coffee shops in the area, hands down. The coffee here is amazing, and every drink I’ve tried so far has been wonderful. It’s always nice and strong, with really unique and creative flavor combinations that keep things interesting. The staff is also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I try to come here at least once a week, but honestly, I wish I could come every day. And don’t even get me started on the food . The pastries are so good. The seven layer bar is to die for, and I’m constantly craving their croissant sandwich. Conejo Coffee is truly a gem. I love supporting the small coffee shop!
Black Flags everywhere. The coffee is good. I love the wildwood roast. But the black flags on the uniforms is off putting. I assume they don’t welcome everyone to drink their coffee.
The lavender latte is to die for, even though it is an extra dollar for lavender to be added. I have had several different breakfast dishes here, the most recent being the Conejo Loco Bowl. I ordered it minus the Everything Seasoning. It was quite yummy, but next time I will order it without the cheese. There may have been a half a cup of cheese or more over the whole top of it, making it difficult to see what was under the cheese.. I ended up taking many bites of only cheese and potatoes for quite a while before I found the sausage and eggs. The atmosphere is delightful and the service is amazing, I keep going back!
We stumbled across Conejo Coffee on our first trip to Thousand Oaks, and wow—I’m so glad we did. A quick search for “coffee shops near me” totally paid off because this place was way better than hotel coffee for breakfast. I went with the iced Café de Olla and a chorizo burrito, and my wife had the Mazapán iced coffee with avocado toast. Both were delicious! We sat outside on the shaded patio, which was perfect for a cool Saturday morning. This is definitely a spot I’d come back to again and again whenever we’re in Thousand Oaks. Cozy, tasty, and such a great vibe.
