NoFi is a no-wifi haven where coffee truly comes first, unapologetically prioritizing quality espresso and pour overs over digital distractions—a rare sanctuary for those seeking that Austin-level specialty coffee experience right in San Antonio. The intimate, cozy atmosphere and freshly made pastries create the perfect setting to slow down and actually taste what's in your cup, drawing genuine coffee lovers who appreciate the unabashed commitment to craft over pretense. My favorite coffee shop in San Antonio. As someone who developed a taste for pretentious coffee in Austin, I haven't had that craving fulfilled anywhere quite like Nofi. There's no wifi, but I let the very friendly barista with the short curly hair know I was there to work on scholarship essays, and she was very supportive. They charged my laptop behind the counter and I was able to take some time that I didn't know I needed to just relax and be in the moment before getting back to my work. The coffee itself was incredibly flavorful, and the staff is pretty on point with their tasting notes. I have never had a coffee without adding sugar to it, but I was able to thoroughly enjoy my traditional cappuccino featuring an adorable milk foam swan. I think it was the best coffee I've ever had, and it was only $8 from their middle tier menu. I picked up 250g of beans for an extra $20. Everyone that works there seems incredibly friendly and passionate about their craft. I will be return customer while I'm in this city.

I believe this place is for true coffee lovers. While I could not fully appreciate the complex flavors, will give five stars for the excellent service. If you are looking for sweet coffee/cappuccino this is probably not the place for you. If you are interested in quality and different ‘notes’ in flavor, this may be more suitable.

Such a cozy atmosphere and the coffee was delish. ( wish they had sweetener) but with the pastries made it good and balanced. Banana bread and coffee cake was so delish!

Brought to you by the minds behind Bright coffee, this quiet and humble shop has title of the most delicious coffee I've had in a while! It's simple in its concept. Freshly made coffee, teas, and speciality drinks in a zen like setting. It's a super chill place to hang out as you grab a drink and explore the various flavors of local and exotic coffee flavors. We tried their matcha and a cappuccino. A must try for sure!

It's pretentious - but that's why it's great. I can't count how many times I've wished for a space where coffee came first. When I come to NoFi, I know that it will. I appreciate the unabashed embrace of slow service, the limited (but impressive!) selection of beans, and the rejection of WiFi. I like the use of vinyl and hi-fi speakers. Everything here is elevated and somewhat alienating to the average person - but that's good! The world would do better with more curated spaces. I like that despite the concept, the staff still feel very warm. I've been to similarly elevated coffee shops elsewhere in the world and the staff there seem cold and distant. Here they actually talk to you, and in fact, wait on you at your table. Every time I go to SATX I stop by. Can't recommend it more for coffee enthusiasts
