Crema's Take

Slow Burn's seasonally rotating drinks like the Lucky Thirteen latte are creative enough to keep regulars coming back, and the baristas here actually seem to care about making you feel welcome—a refreshing contrast to the aloof coffee shop stereotype. The space itself is gorgeous and genuinely welcoming to LGBTQ+ and BIPOC folks, with excellent pour overs and espresso drinks that justify the hype, plus they reward you for bringing your own cup and sell their beans on-site.

What to expect

Espresso-focused, with creative signature drinks, with a pour-over program. A slow-sit, laptop-friendly spot, good for meetings.

Gorgeous, gay, serene space to read and do computer work. My oat milk latte was excellent, the baristas were genuine and kind, and they honor a discount for bringing your own cup! BIPOC LGBTQ+ good vibes ☕️
