If you're looking for serious specialty coffee, you'll want to scope out individual roasters in the area, but if you value a cozy, slow-paced afternoon of browsing local boutiques and cafes alongside your coffee, Truckee's downtown is absolutely worth the detour. Just plan to arrive before 6pm, since these shops tend to close early.”

Very quaint down with an assortment of eateries and cute shops inside of historical buildings. Tahoe Oil & Spice was a wonderful experience. The woman working was so delightful and helpful. Downtown Truckee is a great place for an afternoon stroll and window shopping.
