Crema's Take

This beloved Somerville spot has earned a devoted following for its consistently excellent espresso and criminally good chocolate chip cookies, attracting regulars who stop by almost daily before work. The bright, welcoming atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between a quick caffeine pit stop and a lingering social hub, with staff so genuinely nice they help manage the limited seating by creating a natural flow of people. Beyond the stellar coffee, their made-to-order crêpes—including thoughtful gluten-free options—round out a menu that feels simultaneously indulgent and approachable, making it equally suited for a solo espresso shot or a family dessert outing.

Always come here. Like literally almost every day before work for my double espresso (and I work at a coffee shop!) Their chocolate chip cookie is criminally underrated. Best value & flavor ever. Get it heated up. The crepes are tasty, I usually get the gourmet ones. I like the spicy North African one. Bacon Egg and Cheese on an everything bagel will cure any hangover. Very delicious and filling. Thank you to all the amazing staff, Anani, Jose, and everyone that keeps this place running.

Me and my parents visited Mr. Crêpe in hopes of a good dessert to finish our day. We personally come here often but this time, we were let down a little bit unfortunately. We ordered 3 raspberry/strawberry-Nutella crepes. The fruits were fresh but the crepe dough was overcooked - they were quite solid in certain parts and were hard to cut with silverware. On top of this, the crepes barely had any Nutella in them. This quality is not what I’m used to at Mr. Crêpe, especially for $10.25 a piece. I hope this will change soon, because I know this place can do way better.

A great spot for crêpes! We went on a weekend and the place was brimming with people. Love that the people were so nice and got up immediately after eating since seating is limited. I got the crêpes with turkey and cranberry sauce. My partner got the crêpes with strawberries and kiwis. Really loved the turkey and cranberry sauce combo. The kiwi and strawberries were fresh, though I expected the crêpes to be strawberry flavored, but it was the fruits inside the crêpe. If you get a seat by the window, the view was beautiful since it was snowing. We tried their banana bread and it had a very subtle banana taste and was a great finish to our meal.

Such a lovely spot! The crêpes are delicious, and the hospitality is always wonderful. Plus, they have an espresso machine ☕️

Bright open space with plenty of seating. Lots of options for everyone including gluten free crepes. I got the fresh apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon crepe. The flavors were fine but I was confused about the apples not being cooked through. They were basically raw so the whole thing didn’t really meld together. The flavors were nice, but would’ve been perfect if the apples were cooked through and the flavors were melted into them. The chai latte was kind of bland and watered down. I’ll definitely go back to try a different crepe and drink in the future.
