Crema's Take

The Gallery Espresso leans into bold, creative additions like their signature O'Mara's shot—a wine-based Bailey's cream that transforms any coffee drink—making it worth seeking out even if you're just passing through Savannah. The vibe is decidedly cozy and Instagram-worthy with friendly staff, though the pricing skews premium (expect $12 slices of cake and $18 bagels), and it shines as much for leisurely sit-downs with excellent espresso and matcha as it does for quick grabs. Fair warning: while the coffee and pastries are genuinely excellent, the atmosphere is better suited for quiet work or lingering conversation than taking calls.

Great food but a bit expensive. Buckle up for a slice of cake, albeit large, for $12! The Nova lox bagel was, to be fair, excellent. $18. The bagel was perfectly toasted, the cream cheese seemed richer, the salmon was perfect. All in an eclectic independent coffee shop with a Bohemian vibe. Tons of teas. Ask for prices before you order.

Whenever I travel I look for something unique I can’t get back home. The O’mara’s shot (wine-based Bailey’s cream, can be added to any coffee drink for $4/shot) is it for The Gallery. Prices are not listed on the menu (everything is expensive) nor are drink sizes. They will serve you a large drink unless you specify. Don’t be intimated by the menu and long line: if you walk around to the right of the counter there is a wall of fine loose leaf teas you can take to the counter to order. If you want something cold try the Freído shaken espresso drink (I recommend the pistachio flavor). It’s amazing! To be clear, the food and drink are great, just be prepared for Savannah tourism prices. Receipt attached to give you context for your visit.

Adorable little cafe. Friendly, cozy, inviting atmosphere. Stopped in for a latte to go on our way out of town. Would absolutely return for a sit down cup of coffee whenever I end up in the area again.

Such a fun cafe! Coffee was excellent and staff were so sweet. Nice spot to work but wouldn’t recommend taking any calls. Def worth a visit!

Discovered Gallery Espresso while doing a walk around town. The vibe is cool however the place could use a clean up, in my opinion. We sat outside. Espresso’s & Macha were delicious. We visited twice :)
