Kaldi's Coffee

120 S Kirkwood Rd, Webster Groves, MO

★★★★★4.5(909 Google reviews)

Crema's Take

This espresso-focused spot in downtown Webster Groves wins you over with genuinely warm, patient staff and a thoughtfully curated Roman café aesthetic that feels like a world away from the strip mall coffee shop experience. Beyond the stellar traditional and specialty espresso drinks, their kitchen turns out surprisingly thoughtful breakfast fare—think properly sized breakfast burritos and avocado toast with perfectly scrambled eggs—making it easy to linger over your pour-over or cappuccino. It's the kind of neighborhood gem where regulars keep coming back because the coffee is excellent, but they stay because the whole vibe—from the coffee-themed artwork to the unhurried pace—actually makes you want to spend time there.

I've been to several Kaldi's locations around the area, and this is one of my favorites. Right in downtown Kirkwood near the shops and train. Each Kaldi's has its own unique food, and the avocado toast and breakfast burrito here were both excellent.

This Kaldi’s location is my favorite! The manager and all the staff were so kind and positive! They consistently have the best coffee & food every time I come. I love coming here & recommend it to all my friends. It’s a great place to stop for a quick bite, get some laptop work done (lots of outlets), and catch up with friends. The staff is really what sets this place apart, they are awesome! :)

Fast and friendly service. The three young people who had a line of customers reaching to the door were unfailingly polite and patient as I did have a couple of questions and a request. The Italian breakfast sandwich and the warm cinnamon role were delicious. Coffee is roasted or brewed stronger than I prefer so I can not comment on the coffee. Definitely recommend.

Wow! This little coffee shop is wonderful, let’s get started! The decorations are amazing and reminded me of a coffee shop in Rome or somewhere in Italy. The classic coffee-themed artwork really adds to the charm and atmosphere. Right when we walked in, a young blonde barista greeted us with the sweetest smile. Even though it was very busy, she took the time to help us with our order, especially after I told her it was my first time there. Everyone worked together smoothly as a team, and they were all incredibly kind. I absolutely loved how the latte tasted, and the presentation was so cute. This is the perfect place to hang out with friends, go on a date, or meet someone new if you just want a relaxed place to talk. You’ll definitely love the coffee! It’s a little pricey, but it’s totally worth it because the environment and experience are amazing. Thank you to the wonderful owners for creating such an amazing place ! Oh yeah! The parking area is small and located to the left, so make sure to slow down to safely make the turn into their parking lot. It’s free parking from 7am to like 1pm I think.

My husband got the breakfast burrito and I got the avocado toast and I asked for three scrambled eggs on the side. The burrito was good sized (looks small in the picture for some reason) and it was delicious! Definately recommend! The eggs were good! Avocado toast wasn't actually toasted. It tasted like it was made in house which was good but was a little tough. I think it would have been much better if it would have been toasted! We also got a cinnamon role and an orange almond muffin. Neither were bad, good but also not anything I would get again. Loved the coffee!! They have a sugar free vanilla which was good! It would be nice to have more sugar free options available but glad they had one though! I loved the atmosphere. Low light and cozy yet a little modern touch to it.
