Crema's Take

This beloved neighborhood walk-up spot opens early and serves Lighthouse Roasters beans alongside house-made syrups that elevate every drink, from their delicious iced vanilla lattes to creative shaved ice concoctions. Owner Josh brings genuine warmth to every interaction, and the breakfast sandwiches—think bacon and egg with aioli—are some of the best in Seattle, making The Shorehouse perfect for a quick morning coffee or lingering over breakfast at the sunny sidewalk tables.

I have nothing but good things to say about The Shorehouse! They use Lighthouse Roasters beans and make all of their own syrups for coffee and shaved ice. My iced vanilla latte was absolutely delicious as was my Wake and Bacon breakfast sandwich. Their quaint space was very thoughtfully designed so that you order at the window but there is also room to stand inside and away from the elements. They have outdoor seating too for when the weather is nice and they will be expanding into the unit next door soon for some more indoor dining space. Also Josh was very friendly and welcoming and you can tell he cares deeply about his work and community. My only regret is not getting a bigger cup of coffee. I can't wait to come back later for some shaved ice!

Shave ice!!!!! Automatic five stars. So happy to finally be able to get shave ice in my neighborhood. Lots of flavors. Friendly service. Sidewalk tables. What’s not to love on a sunny Sunday?!?

I stopped by during my lunch break and got their shilshoptle (chipotle) breakfast sandwich and passion fruit iced tea. The sandwich was so tasty and the iced tea very refreshing! And the best part is they were under $15!! The owner Josh and his staff were very friendly and attentive. Can't wait to come back again!!

Terrific! Fresh new walk-up coffee stand with your friendly neighborhood proprietor. Latte was excellent, and just today I enjoyed a scrumptious bacon and egg breakfast sandwich with aioli. They have some muffins and pastries as well as shaved ice, which I'm sure will be a big seller when the weather warms up.
