Sunright Tea Studio - San Gabriel
1245 S San Gabriel Blvd, San Gabriel, CA
Crema's Take
“This cozy San Gabriel tea studio excels at crafting exceptionally fresh, potent traditional teas like their standout jasmine blend, with customers raving about the quality and intensity of flavor. Despite its intimate, no-frills space that fills up quickly, the friendly staff and creative specialty drinks keep locals coming back for their tea fixes, making it a convenient post-work or after-school destination. Fair warning: order ahead online to beat the single-kiosk wait and stick with their stellar tea selections over the fruit offerings.”

BEST TEA EVER!!!!!!!!! I'm so glad that I came here to get some tea fixes. It was the best jasmine tea I have had in a long while. Super fresh and super potent tea flavor. Love love love. Looking forward to it again.
They are very friendly and have good service, but some of the fruit they have there is spoiled.
I stopped by this Sunright location for a night time boba craving. For parking, they have a small parking lot. But there’s plenty of street parking right off of Wells St that I would recommend instead. I went around 7 pm and there wasn’t anyone inside. I was able to order from the kiosk right away and got my order within 3 minutes. I decided to go for the Crème Brulee boba milk tea. I got it with 50% sweetness, normal ice. It wasn’t too sweet, which is what I preferred.
This must be the smallest outlet they have. There is only one ordering kiosk and you can barely fit 3 customers inside. Most people simply order online and wait for their name to be called. Parking lot in the rear fits maybe 6 cars and there is some street parking. Tea tenders work so well in such a small kitchen and are quite nice.
Great little spot since it's near my work. It's conveniently located across from Gabrieleno High School too, so once covid situation eases, I can imagine hs students coming here after school. This was my first time trying Sunright Tea Studio but I've heard great things about it from co-workers who have been to other locations. I really enjoy the fact you order from a kiosk but if there's any questions, the workers are there to help. It's currently their soft opening so their hours are limited from 12pm-5pm, I'm assuming everyday; I didn't ask. They don't have a patio like the previous spot (Unknown Tea House) had so I recommend just enjoying your drink by your car or trunk if you have a hatchback/SUV. Cons about the location is their parking lot. It's extremely small and you'll have to back out to exit, there's no other way to exit except the way you came in. I recommend just parking on the street instead. The drink I ended up getting was what was recommend, their Sunright Milk Tea. I typically can't handle too sweet of a drink but I wanted to know what their 100% sweetness tasted like. For someone like me who doesn't enjoy their boba milk tea tasting like a cup of syrup, 100% sweetness was delightful. It tasted like 50% sweetness to me so I'd definitely get it again. I'll have to come back again with my coworkers to the rest of their menu since it's so close to my work.
