Crema's Take

Orbis Caffe is a welcoming neighborhood gem where serious coffee meets genuine hospitality—locals rave about the quality of the brews and the cafe's remarkable attentiveness (they've literally tracked down customers to return lost items). The space strikes an appealing balance between a working cafe and a dining destination, with plenty of room to spread out, making it equally suited for solo coffee contemplation or gathering a group of friends.

I visited Orbis Coffee for the first time on a Sunday. I was excited to try the brunch menu and grab coffee. The space is cute and there were open tables, even though it was a bit busy. Unfortunately, the customer service wasn’t welcoming. We weren’t greeted and I wasn’t sure how ordering worked. When I asked a few questions at the counter, the responses felt short and almost bothered. Because of that first impression, we decided to just order coffee to go instead of staying for brunch. Our iced lattes also came out warm and the ice was mostly melted by the time they were cold. Overall, it just wasn’t the best experience. There are other coffee shops nearby that feel more welcoming and have better coffee.

Best coffee in Mt Lebo! But also great community members! I accidentally dropped a coin purse there but didn’t realize. They were able to track me down like shrewd detectives and I’m so grateful. Come for the coffee stay for the hospitality!!

At first, we thought this is more a “dining cafe” rather than a “cafe cafe,” but it turned out quite a lot of people worked at the cafe. The cafe has a bar section with quite a decent selection of food/desserts. We ordered an eggnog latte and was good (although most particularly amazing). What I like the most was its variety of seatings—couch area, bar tables, etc and quite a few outlets throughout the cafe. We also tried the cinnamon roll; it was okay. The food and drinks are decent, although not my fav in the. Overall, it’s definitely a cozy and cute place to work at and we’d come back again to work here again.

I brought a group of 17 into the cafe and they handled it so well! They were kind and efficient. There was plenty of seating for us. The coffee was some of the best I’ve had and the pastries were fantastic! The selection was unique and authentic. I had the breakfast wrap which was quite good as well. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!

The coffee here is solid and does the job! Things you should know: I. PARKING There are various options. Street parking, public parking lots and a nearby public parking garage. All easily accessible ~ the only hold-up is that they're paid parking spots, costing about $1/hr. Not bad. II. SERVICE Timely and really patient at taking my crazy beverage orders. They offer sugar free syrups for my friends who like guilt-free options for their drinks. III. QUALITY I'm a snob about my coffee, but their cold brew passes the test. My grandmother, who cannot have caffeine anymore, really enjoys their decaf lattes. The atmosphere is inviting and well designed. It's a great place to camp out at and knock out some work/studying. IV. Fair amount of available seating during weekday late-morning. Seems to be a good time to camp out.
