Crema's Take

If you're serious about French pastries, the croissants and kouign amann here are authentic enough to make you forget you're in Cambridge—buttery, properly laminated, and worth planning around. The coffee is solid (their cortado is genuinely good), but the real draw is settling into their cozy space with a passion fruit raspberry tart that actually tastes like fresh fruit instead of sugar, though occasionally their more complex pastries don't quite land. Come for a slow sit-down breakfast or to impress someone with a carefully chosen tart, not for quick grab-and-go convenience.

What to expect

Specialty coffee. A slow-sit, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Pastries on the menu. Family friendly.

Adorable place with nice seating and real deal French patisseries incl. one of the best croissants I’ve eaten on either side of the Atlantic!

What an amazing discovery! This is exactly a real true French Bakery and Patisserie, what a pleasure to eat a delicious chocolate croissant or a typical French Kouign Amann. Come and feel the cosy atmosphere of the store as well as the super nice staff ♥️

I went in for French pastry. The cortado was good. I decided on an Opera pastry and found it not up to par. The chocolate and cake part was good but the cream was hard and very sweet. Together it wasn't in sync with the taste buds. It felt stale. I would probably try their…
