Crema's Take
“The staff here genuinely cares about coffee education and building community—Chris and the team will walk you through their single-origins with real expertise, making this feel less like a transaction and more like a conversation with knowledgeable friends. Their Honduras coffees are exceptional, with bright citrus notes that prove they're nailing the roast, and the pour-overs are worth the slower pace if you're someone who appreciates technique over speed. Fair warning: on quieter days the service can be inconsistent, but when the team is locked in, this is some of the best coffee in San Diego.”
What to expect
Espresso-focused, with a pour-over program. A slow-sit spot, good for meetings.

Chris is the most genuine, friendly human in all of San Diego—he’s built such an amazing community out of this shop, and the coffee is somehow just as good (the secret ingredient is love and friendship). I love the natural pour overs that are always available!
When it comes to the quality of coffee, you're not gonna find to many better places around SD. Amazing customer service. I love talking to people about the intricacies of roasting and brewing coffee and these guys know their stuff. Lalo (I hope I remembered his name correctly)…
