Crema's Take

Third Street Chai has crafted a loyal following with their thoughtfully balanced chai concentrates that nail the spice-and-sweetness equation, earning particular praise for standout blends like their Mystic Masala Spice and Dragon Tongue Ginger varieties. What sets them apart is their commitment to quality sourcing—fair trade, organic, and non-GMO—making them a rare find for those seeking locally-made, ethically-produced tea that tastes as good as it makes you feel. Their products have quietly become a neighborhood secret in Louisville, though they're gaining recognition beyond local King Soopers and Whole Foods shelves for delivering seriously delicious tea that people genuinely get hooked on.

This chai has a great balance of spicy & sweet, such a pleasing flavor! Our family mixes the concentrate we buy at King Soopers with unsweetened, vanilla almondmilk. We get the Mystic Masala Spice version. We're sensitive to over sweet things and I don't find it too sweet. I really value supporting these quality, local products. It's SO challenging existing in the food and drink industry these days; all customers have their "preferences". Keep up the great work, Third Street! I find when something is too sweet it can usually be cut with something else, like more almondmilk or regular milk. I've been known to add a bit of black coffee to the chai. Also, Celestal Seaonings makes their Bengal Spice tea in tea bags which is simply the spices. If one prefers more spice flavor just brew that into the chai. Deliciously warming for Fall and Winter.

A bit too sweet for my taste (18 gr sugar per serving ). Fair trade, organic, non GMO, I bought the Dragon Tongue Ginger at Whole Foods, it has a nice spice, very ginger flavor. It would be lovely to be able to taste subtle hints of black pepper, cinnamon, clove and cardamom over the super sweet taste. You can always add a bit of honey for more sweet but you can't undo the sweet that has already been added. I'll try another flavor next but hope it's not as sugary.

My dad introduced me to this tea and now i'm hooked! I live just down the street from the headquarters and I had no idea this company existed.. I must have been hiding under a rock because I've been missing out. So yummy plus its all Organic & Fair Trade, what more could you ask for! My dad and I are customers for life. I purchase by the case at the local Costco. My favorite is the peach black tea. I will definitely be recommending your products to others!

Seriously delicious tea. I bought a Third Street mint and honey flavor today from Whole Foods after I discovered their new brand on Twitter. It's fair trade, it's delicious, and it's local. What more could a man ask for?
