Crema's Take

Charles's Coffee pulls off that rare feat of being both a serious espresso destination and a genuinely lovely place to linger, with baristas like Stephanie whose latte art transforms your morning into a small moment of joy. Beyond the impeccable traditional drinks—reviewers rave about their Americanos and black coffee—the space itself is part of the draw, blending plant-filled charm with gift shop finds and a spacious patio that makes it easy to settle in for hours. Whether you're after a meticulously crafted espresso or a matcha latte in a room full of character, this Knoxville spot manages to feel both specialty-focused and genuinely welcoming.

Made a point to try this adorable cafe recently on a Sunday for a traditional hot vanilla latte. Loved the plant and gift shop vibe, spacious seating options and outdoor patio. However, it was the exceptional service from two of the baristas that really sold me on this place.

Who knew an Americano could be so delicious?! I absolutely love all their drinks and I’ve gotta say they have one of the best cups of regular black coffee in Knoxville. There’s plenty of seating I just gotta say it gets pretty cold sometimes so bring a jacket if you’re gonna stay awhile. Their cozy toast is pretty bomb I just wish it had more banana pieces on it.

Decent cup of coffee but a little pricey for the cup size. Great place to just hang out. Lots of Knick-knacks. Bad parking lot.

What a beautiful place to sit and enjoy a fantastic espresso, matcha latte or just a simple cup of coffee. Not over priced and fresh coffee with a few food choices that is a nice touch to sit among the plants and listen to some light music. Lots of space to stretch out and get a little work in if needed.
