Popovers On the Square

Nice pastry place with dine in menu option. Love the popover but have then warm it up before eating. All the pastries are great that we ordered.

So, this was not my first time going but I finally feel compelled to leave a review — this place is lovely and highly consistent. Both the food and the baked goods are superb and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is super cozy and the staff are incredibly friendly, seriously, I've never had a poor experience with them. 100% recommend this place, it's what I recommend to my friends and family.

Popovers was a great wedding vendor for us! They were recommended by our venue. We loved doing the to-go tasting box together and they were so thoughtful in helping us design a cake we loved. It was delicious and beautiful, I'd definitely recommend them.

Cold wet mornings call for a warm pastry. I had never known about pop overs until my trip. It is better than the Elephantine coffee shop and bakery that has zero gluten free options with the only exception of hard granola. The prices are very reasonable for the portions. There were two of us. My companion had the gf quiche that comes with potatoes and a pop over. I ordered a gluten free pop over with maple butter. The best part of life is food and I am very happy I spent a moment of mine at Popovers On the Square on Congress St in New Hampshire.

This is the kind of place where you just KNOW everything on the menu is delicious! Best fruit tart I ever tasted with a nice touch of fruity jelly on the bottom. I picked the “pick two” option for lunch and was also blown away by the BLT and the Greek salad. The tiny popover (I think that’s what it was) was also surprisingly delicious especially with the sweet butter. My husband also enjoyed his burger. Would definitely recommend!
