Crema's Take

Blue Lemon is a casual, family-friendly spot in Salt Lake City where you can grab solid breakfast and light fare between errands or before flights, with staff who genuinely care when they're on their game—their fries are legitimately well-seasoned and crispy. The experience here is inconsistent, ranging from warm, attentive service that makes a delay feel forgivable to frustratingly slow communication about sold-out items, so it's the kind of place where your visit really depends on who's behind the counter that day.

No ketchup for the fries, “ran out”. Cashier tried to avoid talking to me for as long as possible. Ran out of steak tacos, but didn’t communicate it until 15 minutes after the order was placed. The sandwich I ended up with was good though even thought the wait to get it was long.

The wait was a little longer than expected but the cashier apologized for it and the chef did a very good job. Great food.

I’ve stopped at Blue Lemon 🍋 a few times after a long flight and it’s always been so good but yesterday was definitely disappointing. Service was ok but the artichoke dip and fries were not up to their normal standards. Hopefully it was just an off day. I love that it’s outside of the TSA check point so you can grab a bite while waiting for your bags.

AJ was super nice and patient, Ethan is a great cook, a lot faster than normal while keeping quality. The fries were perfectly seasoned with a nice crunch but not tough. They were sizzling when I got them, super yummy.

We ate here because we were dropping my son off at the airport, and since his flight kept getting delayed, we decided to treat him to lunch before he left. The food was good quality, especially for the airport. It was a cross between fast food and a sit-down restaurant. You order at the counter, and then they give you a flashing pager that lights up when your order is ready. They seemed to be understaffed as it took a while to order and also get any help when we needed condiments or take-home boxes. The decor was very clean and modern looking, and they had plenty of places for you to sit and charge your phones or laptops. The prices were about the same as any regular restaurant, and it took about 20 minutes or more to get our food as this is not fast food place.
