Crema's Take

Nestled along the scenic North Shore stretch of Highway 61, Dream Cloud Coffee Roasters captures that rare magic of a truly thoughtful café where both the coffee and hospitality feel genuinely curated. Their espresso-focused menu shines through seasonal creations like the maple latte and miel latte with local honey, while their Luna Decaf has earned devoted fans, and their pastries—particularly the traditional scones—arrive perfectly balanced and made with real care. This is the kind of welcoming spot that invites you to linger over a pour over or specialty drink, whether you're a traveler passing through or a local returning for the third time in one weekend.

What a lovely little coffee shop! We stopped here while driving along Scenic 61. The team inside was so welcoming and friendly. They had great seasonal items—including the autumn maple latte and a savory North Shore matcha. I liked mine so much I went back to get the apple butter chai for the road. They were also kind enough to give our dog a delicious pup cup. Make sure you stop by and grab a drink, pastry, or local pottery item on your way along the North Shore!

A delightful coffee shop nestled on the scenic portion of highway 61 on the North Shore. First off, the coffee is delicious. I still have a bag of the Luna Decaf and all I can say is... WOW! The flavor is smooth and balanced, which is exceptionally rare in a decaf coffee. The interior of the shop is cozy, with a farmhouse feel; lots of wooden furniture and more agates than you got time to look at. The exterior has some nice seating amongst a lush garden (in the summer). 10/10 will be stopping by here when we're on the North Shore again!

Dream Cloud is such a gem of a café not far from Duluth area. The traditional scone was fantastic, perfectly baked and balanced. The miel latte with local honey was delicious, and the vanilla latte with their homemade syrup was just as good. The space itself is beautiful and thoughtfully decorated, giving it a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they serve. A spot that delivers both quality and atmosphere.

This is such a special little coffee shop, and I am lucky my friend introduced me to it. After walking in, I soon realized it would be one of the most thoughtfully curated coffee shops I have ever been to. I found myself observing everything around me since there were so many unique things to see. The seating area reminded me of being in a miniature museum with items from near and far. It's one of those places where you will probably notice something new every time you come here. I really appreciated the atmosphere as well. You have people reading, conversing, and playing board games which just gives it this easy going and lighthearted feeling. I could go on and on about how much I loved the design, decor, and ambience but I should get to how amazing their baked goods and coffee was too. We ordered a banana bread muffin with nutella, a lemon curd bun, a shot of espresso, and a chai tea latte. My friend and I both loved our drinks and the pottery they came in too! The banana bread was so fluffy and delicious, and the lemon curd bun was also fluffy and had a really nice lemon curd filling. I wish I could've just sat here all day drinking coffee and eating everything in their display case. I could easily see myself coming here weekly with how perfect everything was. The owners were chill folks and they have really done an amazing job with Dream Cloud Coffee Roasters.

We found this coffee shop because it was right next to the cabins we stayed in. Absolutely loved it and went 3 times over the weekend! The coffees were amazing, particularly the maple latte and the cherry pie speciality latte. We also had their hand pies which were so good, jam buns, and carrot cake muffin. Everything was delicious! Atmosphere was so cute and cozy. Then even let us bring our two dogs in and gave them pup cups every time! This is now going to be a staple for us every time we head up to the north shore!
