I just got back from Asia for two months so paying five dollars for a cup of coffee to me is absolutely ridiculous. But the place is fine. The people are nice. It’s just jaded coming back to the states. After experiencing Vietnam/Japan, it’s all downhill…

This place until recently was THE PLACE to get a good cup of coffe, not a frilly drink, a well made cup of coffee. I am a fan of a cortado and it used to be perfectly done. But recently (like last month or so) I am not getting that level of excellence Im used to and it is a real bummer. Today's cortado was basically a cappuccino, but mostly milk, very little coffee and served to me the size of a cappuccino. Last week it was so bitter and almost undrinkable. What I love about Joe van Gogh is the attention to detail for a good coffee drink but they've been missing that lately, at least at this location. I hope they can fix it because I love going there but I can't justify the cost if I'm not going to even get what I order anymore.

Dropped by with my daughter for a couple quick coffees and pastries. On-site bakery with excellent selection of sweet and savory treats. Delicious, clean, inviting. Friendly and talented barista. Great experience. Looking forward to our next visit.

More of the JVG I know and love! It's in a nice tucked away spot, lots of nice table space. I appreciate that this location has some comfy seating as well. The baristas were friendly and my cappuccino was perfect.
