Crema's Take
“Tucked in Asheville's Grove Arcade, this spot pairs excellent espresso-focused drinks with a genuinely cozy vibe that encourages lingering—think thoughtful seasonal offerings like their gingerbread lattes alongside reliable standards like nitro cold brew. It's the rare coffee shop that nails both the quick-grab efficiency for weekday rushes and the slow-sit comfort for longer afternoons, plus they're genuinely welcoming to dogs, making it easy to settle in with your pup and a really good cup.”

Super cute place. Great coffee. Totally recommend it. Pet friendly!
I can't speak to the food as I didn't order any, but I believe there were a few options for muffins, pastries, etc. The coffee drinks were good (I got a gingerbread latte or something to that effect, and my husband got a mocha latte) but expensive for the size. I'm not surprised, though, as boutique coffee shops like this are usually on the pricy side. The atmosphere is just okay. The place is a bit small, but there are a few places to sit and drink your coffee. I don't think I would want to stay and drink my coffee, though, as the atmosphere wasn't super relaxing and was a bit loud and crowded with people coming and going. The drinks were made well, but the two baristas behind the counter were not particularly welcoming. They did not seem friendly towards my husband and me, and they seemed especially off-put by my husband wishing them a "Merry Christmas" (how dare he!) when we were leaving. One of the baristas mumbled a very reluctant "Happy Holidays" in response, and we could hear the two of them talking about it as we left.
I got the nitro cold brew with vanilla cream and my sister got the holiday peppermint cold brew. Both tasted very weak, like they had barely any coffee in them and hardly any flavor. One of the employees was loudly talking the whole time we were in there and she didn’t really appear to be doing any work at all, more concerned with getting her shift covered for the next day. Overall, not great and probably won’t return.
Summit Coffee Grove Arcade Review: I recently visited Summit Coffee Grove Arcade and had a pleasant experience overall. The service was impressively fast, allowing us to enjoy our coffee without a long wait. While the indoor seating is limited, there are several outdoor seats available, which is great for those who enjoy the fresh air. However, during our visit at 11:00 am, the sun was quite harsh, making it a bit uncomfortable to sit outside. I would recommend they consider adding umbrellas or other shade options to enhance the outdoor seating experience. On a positive note, the staff was exceptionally nice, and our orders were made to perfection. They clearly take pride in their work! Once they address the weather challenges for outdoor seating, I believe this could easily become a 5-star experience. Overall, a great spot for a quick coffee stop!
Excellent coffee, friendly baristas (though it’s hard to hear what they say sometimes, their accent are not typical Southern) and cozy sitting area, although the views are meh. The baristas also gave me an extra shot of espresso for free! The coffee beans taste like 100% arabica! Any of y’all who’s a coffee lovers would know that it’s the good stuff!
