Crema's Take

This Green Street gem serves the real deal—authentic Cuban coffee and sandwiches that locals trust over the touristy Duval Street versions, with a cortadito that genuinely lives up to its reputation as nature's original energy drink. The breakfast game is equally serious, with omelets and egg sandwiches that even picky eaters rave about, all at prices that feel fair for the quality you're getting. It's the kind of unpretentious neighborhood spot where families come back twice during their stay and the staff's genuine warmth makes you feel like a regular immediately.

Authentic flavor at reasonable prices. Their Cubans are authentic, very different from Americanized Duval St versions. The Cortadito is indeed "the original ENERGY DRINK"! Breakfast sandwiches hit the spot: perfectly pressed bread and condiments on point. Will definitely come…

Eggs and sausage were on point! Omelet was incredible and my wife is PICKY! Came back for late lunch and was just as good. Prices were lower and better food for the money. Highly recommended.

Their Cuban sandwich and coffee are as good as they get. The pork is very flavorful and juicy. Soft bread as you expect. All the flavors are there. It was very nice to meet the people working in this small establishment. Delicious!

Went in for the "original Cuban Sandwich," and I was not disappointed! WOW super hangover helper. The hot pressed sandwich was fresh and filling. The girls working were happy and friendly. The store attached had every essential you need and even key lime pie.

The best Cuban sandwich we had on the trip. There is limited seating inside which was not very comfortable— a few bar stools facing a plank of wood attached to the wall. Best to come here for take out. It is worth it.
