Crema's Take

Tiny Grocer ABQ is a beloved hybrid market and café that celebrates New Mexican ingredients and local producers with genuine care, offering everything from seasonally rotating farm produce to house-made specialties like their standout matcha tea. The attached restaurant delivers delicious food crafted with love, though arrive early to beat the lunch crowds, and the whole space radiates the warmth of a neighborhood gathering spot that takes its sourcing seriously. It's the kind of place locals return to repeatedly, drawn back by both the exceptional quality of what's on offer and the palpable sense that someone really cares about what ends up on your plate.

Great little store with a variety of local options. Produce is local and is available based on seasonality. The restaurant attached is delicious although they can get really busy during certain times.

We visited the Tiny Grocer specifically to pick up a couple of bottles of Zia Sodas, but we also perused the store while we were there. The Grocer has a nice assortment of locally produced goods for sale. We had already eaten, or we would have picked up lunch at their café next door. There is a lovely patio out back in the shade to sit and enjoy the day.

This place is super cute—part café, part market—with an amazing selection of fresh, local New Mexican goods. You’ll find everything from produce and pantry staples to frozen soups, sides, and fresh-baked goodies. The café serves delicious made-from-scratch food (the burritos are a must-try!) and standout drinks—especially the matcha. Bonus points for the super dog-friendly vibe and the adorable patio. Definitely worth a visit!

I was only in ABQ for a few days but visited Tiny Grocer multiple times. They make an amazing matcha tea!! Their store has gorgeous produce fresh from local farms. The lettuce was wonderful and the tomatoes were beyond delicious - just the way i remember them fresh from my Mom’s garden. I brought home some green chili powder and red chili powder from their store and I am still enjoying wonderful memories of Old Town every time I taste these wonderful flavors. Lovely indoor tables and nice outdoor venue!
