Crema's Take

Tucked away from Ashland's commercial bustle, RO|CO is a intimate local roastery where quality espresso and pour overs take center stage, backed by a genuinely passionate community of regulars who return for the exceptional coffee and the unhurried, firelit mornings it makes possible. The rustic, homey space practically begs you to settle in with a pastry or light breakfast, whether you're after a quiet moment of reflection or a comfortable spot to work, and the reasonable prices feel refreshingly genuine for a specialty coffee shop.

Great local hang out; homey, rustic feel. Coffee is delicious, prices are reasonable, and they have some breakfast items available. One perk for our family is that they have a few wheat-free and vegan items for those of us with allergies. Lots of outdoor seating.

Literally my favorite place to have my morning coffee. I’ve been coming here the past few years and nothing beats a quiet morning with good music or by the fire. Thanks for the memories

L❤️ve this coffee!! I’ve been trying local coffee places, but specifically wanted a local roaster here in Ashland and I definitely found my favorite roaster! This coffee is delicious and is now what I’m getting for making espresso at home. I like a medium roast and got the Guatemalan, which is robust and has deep flavor. I also love the neighborhood vibe at this coffee house and energy of the locals that like to hang out there. There’s indoor and two outdoor seating areas, one with a fire table and another area out in the sunshine. Looking forward to trying the soup when I’m there next time since they appear to have rotating homemade soups that look great!

Absolutely awful. The entire place is the size of a closet. There was maybe 15 people in there on a Monday at 2pm which felt normal except due to the size and lay out I could not extend my arms in ANY direction without touching a counter or table or chair!! Waiting for my coffee to go was the most uncomfortable i have ever been in a food establishment. Will not return. Will warn off everyone I know.

Just moved to Ashland and trying as many of the local coffee shops as I can. This one is off the more commercial area and definitely has a local vibe. Nice music compliments the cozy sitting area with a combination of benches, and tables, and bar stools. Good strong coffee as well.
