Crema's Take

HunnyMilk reimagines the coffee shop experience as a creative all-in-one brunch destination where you curate your own meal by selecting a specialty drink alongside both savory and sweet dishes, all enjoyed in a thoughtfully designed space that feels more like a friend's living room than a typical cafe. Their signature drinking chocolate and inventive crepes share the spotlight with standout savory bites like chorizo biscuit holes, making this spot equally beloved for its food as for its coffee, and the generous portions justify the investment for those seeking a leisurely, indulgent breakfast experience.

Absolutely mind blowing how good this place was. At first I thought the combo meal was a little pricey, but it’s a seriously good quantity of food, on top of that it may be one of the best meals I’ve had this year. Definitely recommend.

It was good, a bit spicy but the crape I got was delicious and really good. The deluxe drinking chocolate was good and pretty. Happy Fourth of July everyone 🇺🇸🎊🎉🎇

This is a really cute Portland breakfast/brunch spot. At the current price as of September 2024, for a flat rate of $28.50 per diner you will select a drink along with one savory and one sweet dish. The options all sound pretty good, but I went with the drinking chocolate, baked eggs surprise, and tres leches French toast. Service was pretty quick, and both of us were served around the same time. The dishes came out in order with a very short wait between courses. The drinking chocolate was wonderful, incredibly rich and sweet. The tres leches French toast was the definite highlight for me. It is creamy and soft on the inside, with a rich crispy outer coating. Baked egg surprise was my least favorite item, which to be fair is likely a matter of taste. The dish came out very hot, and the potatoes and onions were cooked very well. Overall, the main knock against this location would be the price, but it's acceptable to me as a rare treat. I'm excited to return and try some of the other menu offerings.

Cute concept where you pick 3 dishes (I went for brunch) and find a seat in their cool space. We opted for a couch which was cozy and a different feel from your regular restaurant. The food was good, but wouldn’t say exceptional for the price. And some of the items were a little too sweet for my palate (though I do lean savory). I think it’s still definitely worth a try if you’re in the area though, and the space is very inviting. Service was also great and they did a good job explaining everything and being friendly, while still being quick and respectful of everyone’s time in line!

The food was great! Just a little pricey in my opinion. But hey I was pleased with pretty much everything and I definitely got plenty of food. My personal favorites were the biscuit holes with chorizo gravy and the japanese souffle pancakes. I also got the drinking chocolate but with coffee and that was lovely. I adore the concept of picking one savory item and one sweet item. It's one of the hardest parts about going to a brunch restaurant, deciding to go savory or sweet. Here you don't have to make that choice!
