Crema's Take

Tucked inside a Chevron gas station in St. George, Sweet Sage is a delightful surprise that honors the art of coffee with house-roasted beans and a commitment to organic, fairly-priced ingredients that feels genuinely rare. The founder's passion shines through in every cup and creative pastry, from their beloved lemon blueberry crepes to thoughtfully crafted specialty drinks, all served in real ceramic cups that invite you to stay and savor rather than rush off. With its cozy, intentional atmosphere and tagline "a cup of connection," this hidden gem has earned its stellar reputation as a place where neighbors linger, families gather, and every detail—from the aesthetic to the ethos—reflects care.

Sweet Sage has the some of the most delicious food and drinks in the area. I truly appreciate their commitment to using clean, organic ingredients at a fair price, something that feels increasingly rare. Every dish is beautifully presented, which makes it feel more elevated, and every time I return, the presentation has improved! I admire the dedication to eco-friendly materials and reduction of disposable products; to me, it shows genuine care and integrity, beyond just great food. The owner is a great guy; Sweet Sage definitely feels like a good third space environment, maybe for homework or reading. They also roast their own beans in-house. As someone who loves fruit-flavored lattes, this is the only place nearby that does it right, My favorite menu items so far is the monte cristo, and an extra-sweet, iced raspberry mocha. If this spot wasn’t on the other side of town from me, I would definitely be making multiple visits per week.

WOW!!! We had trouble finding this delightful place...you pull into the Chevron station and go in, and it's a nice little cafe inside the gas station. I had lemon blueberry crepes, and they were sincerely the best crepes I've ever had in my life. Made to absolute perfection with wonderful ingredients. My husband, who's not easily impressed, had the Kingpin Sandwich, and he was blown away. The chef must be very particular about his ingredients, because they're out of this world fresh and yummy. The atmosphere is cozy, friendly, and inviting. Lots of plants and nice music. Worth every penny...I can't wait to try some of the baked goods, which looked fresh out of the oven. My husband and I highly recommend this culinary gem!!

It was a little difficult to find. The sign says “a cup of connection” on the building. But it was totally worth it. Really good coffee served in an actual cup instead of a to-go cup, which is rare. Ordered the breakfast sandwich and it was simply delicious! Employees are super nice. 100% recommend.

Such a cute little place! It’s very much still a hidden gem, located right inside the chevron. The atmosphere is so cozy, and I got to meet the founder. He’s so sweet and very passionate about roasting. The coffee is delicious, the roast is bold and flavorful. As a sweet coffee enjoyer, I got an iced mocha and it was perfection. I’d definitely stop by!

New coffee shop in town just inside the Chevron gas station. Food & coffee was amazing! Thanks Austin for bringing an aesthetic coffee shop to the Santa Clara area! We ordered to go the lemon blueberry crepe and the banana caramel crepe, delish!! As well as a hot & iced latte Coffee is not an over bearing sweet like Dutch Bros and beautifully crafted. Well done!
