Andex
69 Deep Rock Rd, Rochester, NY
Crema's Take
“This Rochester spot strikes a solid balance between a traditional coffee house and a reliable workspace, where the friendly staff and welcoming vibe make it easy to settle in for hours with your laptop. While the drink menu keeps things classic rather than adventurous, what really sets Andex apart is how genuinely comfortable it feels as a gathering place—the kind of café where regulars come not just for coffee but for the atmosphere and the people behind the counter.”

Great place to work.
Nah fr fr, these folks either shady as hell or they don’t know what they doin (;pick one! First off, the job description ain’t say nothin, had me out here guessin what the job even is. Then they got the AUDACITY to be paying way below what everybody else paying in the area --- like they think we stupid or somethin. So I’m tryna get on the phone wit the recruiter and they steady playin games, rescheduling and all that, wastin my whole time. Then HERE GO the crazy part!! THEY the ones who brought up money first, right? So when I come back wit a lil "counter offer" , all polite and whatnot, they gon turn around and DROP the salary?? Make it make sense! And after ALL that? These folks ghosted me for like two weeks straight, ain’t hear nothin from nobody. If the reviews on they products tellin the truth, the people runnin this place ain’t got no morals whatsoever. Stay away from these clowns, I’m dead serious!
I am deeply disappointed with the SchoolTool system developed by Mindex. The following notes on such system are related to a recent incident at LCSD. The system's security is seriously lacking and leaves much to be desired. Firstly, the access control methods are inadequate. Apart from the system-generated passwords, there are no solid access control measures such as 2FA or MFA, or biometric verification. This makes the system vulnerable to unauthorized access. PROTECT is the first step to secure your systems, you failed to do that. Secondly, there is no monitoring system in place to detect abnormal usage of credentials. This means that any suspicious activities can go unnoticed, posing a significant risk to the security of sensitive information. DETECT, you also failed this element in any basic cybersecurity framework. Additionally, the system fails to provide prompt notifications to users regarding any security breaches or issues. This lack of timely communication can lead to delayed responses to potential threats. You need to work on your Incicdent Response Plan and notify stakeholders promptly and on timely manner according to NIST Standards. Furthermore, the training provided to users proved it was insufficient. Users are not adequately trained on how to use the system securely, which increases the likelihood of human error and security breaches. Lastly, the recovery plans are poorly managed. There are no enhancements or changes made to the incident response plan, indicating a lack of proactive measures to improve the system's security. In summary, the SchoolTool system by Mindex is highly vulnerable and does not meet the necessary security standards. I strongly urge Mindex to address these issues and improve the system's security measures.
