Crema's Take

Tucked into Richmond Square, Cafe Richmond is a beloved neighborhood spot where owner Jeff and his son craft exceptional comfort food that keeps locals coming back—their red beans and rice and Black Bean vegetarian soup are standout reasons to visit. While set up primarily for quick grab-and-go service with ample parking, the cafe also excels at specialty coffee drinks like their iced caramel lattes with oat milk, making it an ideal stop whether you're fueling up for the day or treating yourself to a leisurely lunch.

Thanks Jeff for another delicious lunch. My favorite was by far the Black Bean vegetarian soup. Go good! A close second is the Caprese sandwich on sourdough bread. Thanks for keeping us fed, locally! Len

I only gave 4 stars because I only had 1 thing to eat. Ill return and if it stays consistent, it will go to 5. This is cute Lil place in Richmond square building. It sits in the open, but has about 4 2-seat tables. I had a bagel which was nice and there are a lot of tasty looking sandwiches on the menu, that I look forward to trying. Its a cute set up, and the gentleman behind the counter was very friendly. He let me try a small sample of his very popular red beans and rice. Its very similar to a Louisiana dirty rice type dish, it has a small bite but nothing to over powering. He has some delicious looking baked desserts as well. I had little time to stay and try what I wanted, but Ill make more time my next visit.

I just had another amazing lunch from Cafe Richmond. Jeff and his son are great people and Jeff makes the best red beans and rice I've ever had. We're very lucky to have such a great food option in our building.

Stopped by for RI Food Fights, got an iced coffee with caramel and oat milk. The coffee was good but the food was out of this world! I had the opportunity to try the special: rice and beans. It was so flavorful! Definitely get it before it disappears!!! The new owner was so friendly! Can’t wait to go back!

Plenty of parking here in a full lot. Mostly set up for to-go. They have a few tables but everyone while I was there only got things for take out. Interesting little cafe in a place that feels like an nice updated apartment complex but There’s yoga places and offices inside. Okay pricing. Seems like they only have take away cups and not cups for dine in.
