Crema's Take

Honey Cup is a pastry lover's paradise where the croissants rival those you'd find in a French bakery, thanks to their pastry chef Andon who sources imported European butter for every delicate layer. The baristas here take equal pride in their espresso, crafting bold, full-bodied Americanos that actually taste like coffee rather than hot water, and they'll happily guide you toward the perfect drink to complement your flaky, buttery breakfast. It's the kind of unhurried neighborhood spot where quality ingredients and genuine craftsmanship shine through in every bite and sip.

Delightful little coffee spot! The pastries—especially the croissants—are outstanding. Perfectly flaky, buttery, and incredibly fresh, they taste like they’ve just come out of the oven. The staff is genuinely welcoming and attentive without ever being intrusive. The atmosphere is cozy and calm, with a thoughtfully designed layout that allows for both comfort and privacy. This is the kind of place that makes you want to linger, and one you’ll find yourself returning to again and again.

Had a wonderful experience while picking up coffee. I wanted a strong Americano with a distinct coffee taste (instead of the watery version that most cafes serve), so the barista recommended adding a shot of decaf to my cup and adding less water. I really enjoyed it and as a coffee snob, I recommend this spot!

Pastry … great selection of original idea unique pastry. When we talked to owner, he said they import butter from Europe. Real butter into pasty tastes so good. Also looks like pastry art and not too sweet. You can enjoy true flavor. Coffee : great. latte and coffee are also good. Perfect with food menu! I can’t wait to see new location they are planning to open! Looking for true croissants? Try here!

Nestled between the Santa Monica Mountains to the south and Conejo Mountains to the north, is the quiet, pleasant town of Newbury Park, home to an amazing coffeehouse located in the shopping plaza called The Village. I had never been here before and it took me a couple tries to find the coffeehouse but now that I know where it is I won’t have a hard time finding it! I had a wonderful experience! My coffee was delicious. the chocolate croissant and breakfast sandwich called the Egg-Cellent Croissant were phenomenal. The sandwich was made to perfection! The ingredients were fresh and it was the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had.
