Blk Dot Coffee

Iced vanilla latte was okay.. not the best latte I’ve ever had, but not bad.

The is very good option to grab a coffee located in Crystal cove shopping center. A lot of place to seat and also very nice cars in the parking

I used to go to their location at the Spectrum, but’s it’s been a while. Surprised to find one so close to UCI. Staff is very friendly and efficient. The place is a good sized with some seating inside. The plaza also has plenty of outdoor seating. It’s in a pretty big plaza with plenty of food/drink options. It can get pretty busy, but I’ve never had an issue trying to find parking. So I only get three things from them and it really depends on what I’m craving that day, Iced VTM, Iced VTMatcha, or Iced Uji Matcha Latte. They have plenty of customization options if that’s your thing. All have excellent flavor and really depends on your preference. They VTM is very strong can can be pretty sweet, but that’s really what you should be expecting. For the other two matcha options, I tend to do less sweet and less ice. Love the matcha flavor without too much sweetness and less ice so you take your time enjoying it without it getting diluted down. Nice location for some really good drinks. Prices are completely fair for what you are getting.

Okay…. So maybe it’s on me for just ordering a black coffee and not some sugar drink, but it was bad. Bad bad bad. They made it in a nespresso like keurig thing (he said it’s a “fancy” machine) and charged me $4. And it tasted terrible. Two stars because the guy was nice, and I feel bad giving one star.

The Bluffs is always a great time. This was my first time at Blk Dot. The service is really great, ordering was quick and the staff were upbeat, friendly, and responsive. My colleague and I ordered the decaf. We sat outside and had a great time. Their cups had this great lid that snapped shut for these bumpy rides home. Repeat customer over here 😊🙏
