Shortwave Coffee is great! The lattes are delicious, the pastries are fabulous and the baristas are friendly and efficient! The atmosphere is cute and comfortable. My favorite part is the climbers on the wall!!

Love this place! Finally stopped in after driving by many times. So happy I did! It’s now one of my favorite coffee shops in Mpls! The staff & owner are super friendly & the atmosphere is lovely. Cardamom Latte is my fave! And the banana bread is super yummy! Would highly recommend Shortwave on 50th!

Jacob was my barista. He was excellent and skilled and we had lovely conversation, but he did not neglect or ignore other customers. It was refreshing having a thoughtful beverage in a nice coffee spot with pleasant conversation with a very down to earth and knowledgeable barista.

The atmosphere was nice- very cute and trendy. The iced matcha was sweeter than most and on the milky side. I also ordered a chocolate croissant and it was pretty disappointing. They keep the pastries in a cooler, so when I went to bite into it the chocolate was hard and the pastry was kind of dry. They did not offer to warm it. They also forgot to make one of the drinks someone in my group had ordered. So we had to go up and remind them, and the shop wasn't busy at the time.
