Hawkins Pac-Out

Great 1/4 lb burgers under $10, and a 1/6 lb option for $5. Drive through or walk up. Very busy. Bacon Bleu burger was awesome. Fries are mid.

We had a regular burger & a cheeseburger Gems & onion rings with fry sauce. A supper thick & chocolate shake. Yum. Loved it & it brought back so many great memories. We had Herby's Pac-Out in NorCal growing up. This was a great find.

Came here religiously during 2021, food was great and the staff was very kind. Just left there today with good milkshakes and the worst chicken tenders I have ever seen. They looked like the ends I’d give to my dogs. The staff … the gentleman that took my money was grand. He was incredibly kind, made eye contact and gave me my milkshakes and my drink. He said they’d be right back with our order. Now the only thing that I can assume happened next was a miscommunication around expectations. The woman that threw open the order window tensely asked me “did you tender your order? Are you waiting for something else?” Really threw me off. I stammered out chicken and she handed me the bag and shut the window. No double check did we need anything else, no thank you, have a nice day. Just here. The chicken: undercooked and poorly butchered. No seasoning on anything. Bread in the basket was a grease sponge. Two star review: one star for the male staff member and one star for the milkshake.

Very happy to stumble upon this local gem. Fantastic service and we asked for our burgers to be mustard fried which was off menu and they were happy to oblige. Really good burgers and fries. One of the top ten in Boise!

We have been going to Hawkins forever. It has been a North end staple for many years. The bacon cheeseburger is my go to. Hubby has mostly ordered the Herby burger, but recently switched to the hot momma minus the salsa. The bacon cheeseburger is perfect. Hot and meaty burger, bacon and cheese- with crisp cold lettuce and tomatoes. The French fries have always been delicious. Cooked to perfection and served with fry sauce. Yum!!!! Pictured here is the bacon cheese burger and chicken strips. We don’t normally order them, but they were delicious also. Served with a piece of Texas toast and BBQ sauce. 😋 We always hit the drive thru and eat at home. Don’t forget to try one of their creative monthly shake specials.
