Crema's Take

This cozy Rochester gem has perfected the art of chai, with reviewers raving that it's simply the best in town—and many refuse to drink chai anywhere else. The intimate space is impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed, staffed by genuinely warm people who make you feel at home, and the menu invites you to customize seasonal and signature drinks beyond the exceptional classics. It's the kind of place where you linger over a perfectly spiced cup and actually want to come back, whether you're a devoted chai enthusiast or just looking for something a little different.

Best chai in Rochester. The cafe is very clean, and cozy and the staff is super friendly! The hot chai was a perfect addition to my cold morning, and was the absolute perfect temperature when I took my first sip.

You won't catch me drinking any other chai- I refuse!! Chai guy chai is the absolute best you can get! It's fun to customize with all the different options on the menu, especially the seasonal drinks they offer. I tell everyone I know & will continue to tell everyone to go to the Chai Guy Cafe - it's a Park Ave staple!

Nice spot for something a little bit different. Chai was enjoyable. I enjoy sweet so it may be too sweet for some. Small and cozy place to enjoy a break. Staff was absolutely amazing. Made a first timer feel like a regular.

Fantastic cafe with some amazing flavours to try out. We ordered the Classic Chai with addition of Masala and a Regular Hot Chai. The Classic Chai with the Masala was delicious and packed a punch that was much needed to keep me warm as the door was left open and it was freezing! Cronut was lip smackingly delicious. Seating is limited. Off street parking is somewhat available depending on the time.

Absolutely fantastic! My husband and I visited from out of town and loved it. The space is beautiful, clean, and well thought out. The chai was fantastic! It smelled amazing, and was the perfect space to sit and read for a few hours. The owner is kind, friendly, and very informative in helping you order. We sat and finished our drinks while reading and then ordered more for the road. They have vegan milk options, gluten free and vegan baked goods, and espresso to add to your chai. Highly recommend coming in to enjoy this place.
