Scorpion Hearts Club

One of the coziest coffee shops in GR. The coffee is just "okay" and there are places to get better drinks, but I never have to worry about feeling unsafe. The staff is always super friendly.

This place is 5 stars on all fronts for me. Best coffee, atmosphere [and baristas!] in town. They're always running awesome events and interacting with the community. They also have the widest tea selection in town I've seen so far, including many herbal options! If you like matcha, theirs had a super interesting taste, really earthy. It seemed super fancy, just not my thing. If you love coffee and want to try something new and fun their seasonal menu always has cool stuff!

This place is a true 5 out of 5 stars, I would rate it higher if I could! The staff are very friendly and were patient when I was being indecisive about what I wanted to order. The drinks were stellar both times I went (the Fitzgerald is chefs kiss), and the cream cheese danish was delicious! The whole place was a vibe, and the music was loud enough to hear it but not so loud I couldn't have a hushed conversation, perfect volume. I haven't even mentioned the wide range of gifts and art from local vendors that you can purchase! Overall this café is magical and I highly recommend adding it to your list of hang out spots :)

Employees are great. Coffee is decent enough. I used to come in most weekends on a morning to read because it was one of the coziest coffee shops in town. Emphesis on "was". Someone associated with the cafe (the owner I think?) now brings their kids in for most of the morning and they are absolutely out of control. They SCREAM & RUN but the parent does nothing to discourage this. It's like a McDonald's playplace now when they're there. Hit it up if having poorly supervised toddlers stomping around and throwing toys isn't going to bother you. Look elsewhere if you want a peaceful beverage or are easily overwhelmed by loud noises and chaotic, poorly-parented kids.
