La Maison Bleue (RK Cafe)

This cafe has been one of my favorites since it was inside Mitsuwa, and even after moving to a new location, I still find myself coming back and it’s the kind of place you naturally become a regular at. My go-to drinks are the Black Sesame Cream Latte, Biscoff Cream Latte, Bleus Cream Latte, and Shikuwasa Latte, and I honestly don’t see that changing anytime soon. Each drink is thoughtfully crafted and consistently delicious. You can really tell the owner is passionate about coffee and puts genuine care into every cup. The quality here is truly top-notch something that’s getting harder to find these days. I support local businesses like this, and I genuinely hope this place continues to grow and thrive. Personally, I don’t feel the need to go to Starbucks anymore when coffee like this exists. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

TLDR: The drinks and snacks here are really great! Already looking forward to coming back for more! We did the matcha tasting today - it was a lot of fun! The tasting is in a private space, and was very relaxing. We learned about the different types of matcha and matcha preparation, and the intention that goes into matcha ceremonies. Anna was super friendly, accommodating, and fun to talk to with a lot of great information. The tasting also included snacks - they were delicious and they were able to accommodate for allergy restrictions. By the end, we ordered one of their matcha lattes and their Dubai chocolate mochi - the two pair together really well. The Dubai chocolate mochi was too good - I wish I ordered more! Definitely a fan of this spot, and we'll definitely be back. 5 stars!

Went to a matcha tasting by Anna as we’re just getting into matcha so we got the best introduction to the world of matcha where we learned all about the history of matcha, then tried 4 different Japanese matchas, learned how to whisk and do our own at home, then make our own lattes, plus their was a pairing menu for each type of matcha we tried! The whole experience was about 2.5 hours but it didn’t feel that long! Can’t wait to create my own matcha station!

My wife and I absolutely love the drinks here! We discovered La Maison Bleue on a Saturday stroll, and it quickly became one of our go-to spots that we recommend to everyone. I’ve really enjoyed exploring new cafés, and this one has become my favorite. The Matcha Latte has been my standout so far, though the Biscoff Latte was also amazing—you really can’t go wrong. The staff is warm and welcoming, always happy to guide you toward drinks that fit your taste, and they even walked us through the process of making matcha. Every cup feels thoughtfully crafted, and the flavors truly shine.

I lovee getting to explore new (to me) cafes and La Maison Bleue has been my new personal favorite. I think my favorite drink so far has been the Sakura Matcha latte but I also just had the biscoff latte and it was amazing! You can’t go wrong and they also have great drops of all the best matcha powders (Marukyu Koyamaen, Ippodo and others). Lovely staff is there to help you pick the drink that fits your profile and overall a 10/10 store.
