Luci’s at the Grove

We celebrated Valentine’s breakfast at Luci’s — one of our family favorites. It was packed, and my husband’s order was accidentally made incorrectly. Having both worked our way through college in the restaurant industry, we know firsthand that mistakes can happen — what matters is how they’re handled. Jenna, the district manager, immediately stepped in, sincerely apologized, refunded our meal, and checked back on us twice while we enjoyed our (perfectly made!) coffees. That level of care and professionalism is exactly what great hospitality looks like. Jenna is the kind of manager every restaurant needs — and why we’ll keep coming back! What a fun place! Lots of food and drink choices. Lots of tables inside and out. Misters on the patio. Retro theme. Shopping available. I ordered huevos rancheros. The sauce had a great flavor. My husband had the traditional breakfast. The bacon was perfect! Thick and crispy. Sourdough toast. The potatoes were perfectly seasoned. My cousin had eggs, bacon and oatmeal. The oatmeal was amazing! The other person in our party had pancakes, eggs and bacon. Big and fluffy. I have ordered catering from Luci's in the past for my work. The breakfast burritos are quality and tasty!

I live nearby the Lucy's at the Grove and have been a regular customer since the day they started here. It has been an excellent welcoming place to come, sit down, relax and enjoy. Ken, the Owner, comes himself on weekly basis and mingles with the customers bringing their dishes, greeting and talking to them creating a friendly warm and welcoming atmosphere. The whole team guided by the Manager Westin also joined by Jenna on some days of the week, are greeting with smiling friendly faces, and please, excuse me for not remembering all names. Most often I am greeted by Autumn, Dilon, Page, Emma, Alexa, Gisela, and just newly joined Sophia, while each of them tirelessly keeps performing their duties like honeybees. I love and enjoy performance of the Chefs at the kitchen who prepare my meals exactly as I ask for and I may be a bit more challenging customer. I love you all, team at the Lucy's at the grove!

Even with a line, we ordered and received our food very quickly, and we were relieved that there was plenty of seating on a Saturday morning. The food was great, but I would’ve liked more syrup for the French toast. The biscuit was delicious! Also, this restaurant is dog friendly, which is great for dog owners but know ahead of time if you don’t like that

This was my first time at this location, it’s a vibe just like their other establishments. Super fun, unique shopping, brunch, coffee cocktails and a patio. It’s basically an Arizona winter, year round. They are always friendly and quick and have good food. We didn’t have a bad bite from the danish, to the muffin, cinnamon roll and even a biscuit with gravy. It was all good. The biscuit is a cheddar and chive biscuit with mushroom and sausage gravy. If you’re a traditionalist, for B&G, it may not be for you. If you’re open to new things you will enjoy this savory take on a hearty breakfast
