I don't live in Allegan, nor do I have any reason to be in Allegan. I've been here once before a couple years ago for sandwiches. I got some veggie sandwich and my partner got the Ralphie. I had a bite of her sandwich which was the Ralphie. For two years I've regretted not ordering that sandwich. Fast forward to last weekend with an insane PMS craving for the Ralphie. I couldn't take it any longer and NEEDED it. I drove an hour to Mugshots salivating the entire time. Upon arrival as I was walking in at 1:54 p.m. I noticed the sign saying they closed at 2:00. I RAN to the counter and asked if it was too late to order. Now, in many circumstances I would never attempted this. I can't imagine how frustrating it is when a customer walks in at the last minute to order and I am so very, very sorry for it. The employee behind the corner did an amazing job pretending not to be annoyed and said yes I could order. I hurried and ordered two Ralphies to go. My only regret is I didn't also get a couple slices of cake to go as well, but really didn't want to push my luck. Essentially this is my wordy way of saying the food is amazing and the customer service is top notch. Until next time, Ralphie....

We were excited to try these. I ordered 3 sandwiches. 2 grilled cheese and 1 pb and j The grilled cheese wasnt hot. Thankfully I asked for goat cheese and tomato or else it would have been a dry bread and cheese sandwich. Definitely not the grilled cheese we were hoping for. Mind did look good because of the selections. It photographed well. The fruit and chips was good. I didn't get pictures of the others ones. Not a bad place but it was a mis for us.

We had the Doll iced & Flopper hot, both very good. For food we had the the cheddar broccoli soup, & the Deadwood sandwich with carrots & hummus. We enjoyed it all on the back deck on a beautiful afternoon. This was our first visit & we were pleasantly surprised! Definitely recommend.

This was a nice cafe with a comfy atmosphere and good views from the windows. The menu was varied with lots of interesting sounding options, and the staff was friendly. It was a popular place during my visit. I ended up having the latte and a chocolate croissant to go, and both were decent. This seems like a nice place to visit if you’re in downtown Allegan.
