Inkwell Coffee Shop

Crema's Take
“Tucked on Butler Street, this espresso-focused café has earned fierce loyalty for pulling shots with real care and precision—reviewers rave about the quality so much they specifically mention it deserves carbonated water on the side. The space strikes that rare balance of being genuinely cozy and intimate while staying welcoming to everyone, from dog-friendly weekends filled with families to solo laptop workers and friends catching up, all bathed in natural light perfect for people-watching. Warm, attentive baristas who clearly know their craft make this the kind of neighborhood spot you'll find yourself returning to every morning you're in town.”

My Favorite Cafe in Pittsburgh! -- just enough space -- and simultaneously Cozy. Good window views and light - for people watching. Place is pretty dog friendly. Sundays & Saturdays you see families hanging out with their kids. Good Coffee. Good Barista(s). Good Neighborhood vibes. Beautiful pastries & breakfast sandwiches(salty & filling).
Chefs kiss for the espresso not only because it was paired with carbonated water but because of the quality of the coffee. The atmosphere is warm and cozy with friendly service.
A must-stop when you’re in LV and arguably the best coffee on Butler Street! A cozy shop with friendly baristas who care about what they’re serving. Nice place to catch up with a friend or enjoying a quiet moment to yourself. My go-to order is their oat milk latte with brown sugar cinnamon, which is perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. Every drink I’ve had here has been consistently great!
Cozy atmosphere, welcoming baristas, queer friendly, Great coffee, nothing bad about this place. I had an eggnog latte sometime in early December the whole feel of everything here was amazing.
While visiting Pittsburgh, we walked from our accommodation to Inkwell coffee shop two of the mornings we were in town. On the first morning, I ordered a spiced maple latte with oat milk, while my husband ordered the blueberry pancake latte. My dad ordered a classic chai tea latte. I loved all of the plants and large windows that allowed plenty of natural light. We enjoyed our beverages before walking back to our accommodation. The following morning, I came by myself to get my morning latte and opted for an iced pumpkin spice oat milk latte. Both times, the lattes were delicious without being overly sweet. I appreciated that they had milk alternatives for those of us who have trouble digesting lactose. I did not end up trying any of the pastries or bakery items, but they did look delicious. A cool coffee shop worth checking out if you find yourself in the Pittsburgh area.
