Kinder Being Cafe

Really great! I was passing through Pittsburgh and needed a place to co-work for the day. I wanted a place with style and reflective of the local culture. So, no Starbucks-esque places. I spent the day here from opening to closing. Service was great, coffee and food... great. They source as much as they can from cool local vendors, such as their ginger beer and foods. Also, right next door to a vinyl/record shop, so have fun! I was so comfortable there, a patron came up to me on my laptop to ask me a question about the operations here. HA! I look forward to them growing their patronage and more people getting to experience this place. I got a yummy vegan burrito for my overnight traveling to-go.

I went cafe hopping today in Pittsburgh and this cafe was hands down my favorite! My latte was delicious, the vibes were immaculate, the owner was so nice, and the decor is so fun! Cant wait to visit again next time!

We recently stopped into a locally owned coffee shop on the North Side of Pittsburgh, and it was such a great experience! This family owned and operated spot takes pride in their craft, from their own freshly roasted beans to delicious custom drinks and a great selection of menu items. It’s the perfect place to support a small business and enjoy amazing coffee. Be sure to visit on your next trip to the city!

I got to know Max years ago as a worker baristaing at a different shop, who would steam every type of milk to perfection and was genuinely so excited to chat with every person who walked in the door - so I knew when he opened Kinder Being that it would be full of local art and love and great coffee! Turns out it also has an amazing crazy paint job, a mini tv, a VHS collection, homemade syrups, plants, and one of those sparky tesla ball toys at the table. All to say: I love this place, highly recommend for coffee and vibe
