High Tide Coffee Oceanside

Five stars! This is easily one of my favorite spots in town. The lattes are perfectly crafted and the cold brew is incredibly smooth—no bitterness at all. The shop itself is clean and cozy, making it a great place to relax or get some work done. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the friendly and helpful staff. They’re always welcoming and make you feel right at home. Highly recommended!

I was a bit confused by the service. They started off nice, but when I politely asked if my two pieces of toast (ordered 15 minutes earlier) were ready, it felt like I was interrupting their friend chat time at the counter with other friends. Then told me she was making it now. When the toast finally came out, it was unfortunately super burnt. The coffee, though, was really good. I’m just bummed about the service portion of it. We usually go to the San Clemente location three times a month, and the service there is always outstandingly amazing in San Clemente.

High Tide Coffee is a gem, and Elizabeth is a big reason why. She immediately understood my gluten-free needs and offered amazing suggestions with such engaging energy. Her recommendation — the Kickin’ Cottage Cheese Avocado Toast — might be the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced sweet and savory flavors that melt in your mouth. She introduced me to the Moon Drink with an extra coffee shot — smooth, bold, and exactly what I didn’t know I needed. The whole crew radiates good vibes, there’s plenty of outdoor seating, and the café is right next to adorable local shops. This is the kind of place you want to linger. I’m already planning my return visit tomorrow!

High Tide Coffee provides a wonderful space to enjoy a coffee date. The open air atmosphere greatly adds to the ambience, especially with perfect Oceanside weather. Upon arriving, I noticed the community board, "Pay It Forward." This is my first time seeing something like this. This allows others to buy a drink for another person, which is a kind and caring. The barista quickly took our order. Yes, the hot cup of bold coffee hit the spot. High Tide is toddler friendly, as seen by the Toddler Play Station. Come and enjoy the ambience and service. I look forward to drinking another cup of coffee ☕ with my wife at High Tide Coffee.
