Crema's Take

This Bryan favorite nails the relaxed porch-style vibe with bright, airy spaces and dual outdoor seating areas that make it equally good for lingering solo or gathering with friends before the big game. They take their espresso seriously with inventive specialty drinks like iced honeycomb lattes and creative milk alternatives, though their strength really shines in a straightforward black coffee or well-pulled shot. The quiet-but-bustling atmosphere and genuinely helpful staff make it an excellent study spot that somehow feels both cozy and spacious at once.

I like that they have different milk alternative options. Setting is nice inside and there are two outdoor seating areas available. Mocha with pistachio milk was decent but if sweet mocha espresso drink is preferred will need to add sweetener. Bearinmind that espresso drinks are made in the traditional fashion such as the macchiato which is served in an espresso drink sized cup....so don't expect a "Starbucks" size. But my sister did say it was pretty good. And as I'm someone with both a dairy and gluten allergy it was awesome to see they have options related to both. As their baked goods section does offer options made by a gluten-free bakery out of Bryan.

The coffee is good but the breakfast sandwich was dry and pretty small. It’s like a snack size lol. Tried the iced honeycomb latte the other day and it was really good. Got it hot today and it was way too sweet. Our group also tried the cinnamon rolls that were good but also really sweet. Adding that by 9am on a Saturday they were out of ice for iced coffee and those in our group had to wait 40 min for someone to go get ice and make their order. Did get a refund and free cookies.

This is a cute little coffee shop that was quiet and busy but not crowded. The space is open, airy, and full of light. Excellent study vibes. The staff were super helpful and gave great recommendations. The iced matcha is pretty good (a little on the sweet side if you add syrup but unsweetened at baseline), and the pecan bar is delicious. There aren’t many food/snack options - just a few pastries and granola bars, so you’ll have to plan ahead if you want a protein based breakfast with your coffee.

"Heaven is not always served in slices, but in cups." I deeply enjoyed my visit to Side Porch Coffee Co! I went with a group in the morning before going to watch an A&M football game. It has a prime location right along Highway 6, so the perfect stop for a quick pick-me-up on the way to College Station. It is beautifully design, both inside & out! The family who built it did an amazing job creating a space where all people are welcomed and faithfully served! The staff was amazing and greeted us with smile, even though they had been working since 6:30AM (Shoutout to Ellie and Swede 👏)! The barista, Ellie, recommended a Smokey Maple Latte (warm). That was absolutely the right choice, because it was fantastically stellar! It is a Fall Flavor, so I recommend everyone within a 1000 mile radius to go and try it! Side Porch is the best in CStat to get coffee and blessed its customers by serving Heaven in a cup 😇
